 Robert L. Lanclos began his printing journey in 1940 in a small rural community outside Baton Rouge. Focused on his desire to succeed in a bigger market, he moved to Baton Rouge in 1958. There, he sharpened his leadership skills through his dedication to working harder and more efficiently than his co-workers. His ability to communicate comprehensively about the printing operation and his team building skills mapped his way to prosperity.
With his experience, motivation and dedication, Robert founded his own company, Professional Printer, in 1978 in order to serve the printing needs of the Baton Rouge community. Over the first decade, Robert created a full-service printing organization, which included full color printing to simple black/white. Intrigued by his father's ability to reach out to the community, John Lanclos, Robert's son, joined the staff full time in 1982. Together, they would ensure each print job was customized not only to fit the customer needs, but also to reflect the knowledge and dedication for which Professional Printer was known.
 Eight years later, John and his wife Cori bought the business in 1990 to continue the dream!. When John and Cori launched Professional Printer into hi-end quality format printing, Professional Printer has provided the community with unique solutions for their clients.
Today, Professional Printer stands on its history, relies on its knowledge and generates quality products for our clients. Our investment in a variety of equipment, such as a full graphic department, gives our clients the ability to save time and money. The design is accomplished either on MAC or PC, using a variety of industry-standard software packages. By expanding into the digital arena with the computer-to-plate system, digital imaging and digital color copying, we are able track each client's current job through the printing process and give a clear job history on each account. Furthermore, we use hi-end-offset presses to produce stunning quality and complete the jobs with a bindery center.
